PME SCIENCE COMMUNICATIONS GUEST SPEAKER EVENT
In Conversation with David Kestenbaum: When Top Quarks and Journalism Collide
January 21, 3:30 pm. Register here for a Zoom link.

Join us for a virtual fireside chat with this skilled communicator, interviewer, and subject matter expert as we discuss his career path from particle physics research to journalism, talk about the role of storytelling in science, and gain insight into the "whys" and "hows" of engaging the public in complex topics of global importance.

You have likely heard his stories on NPR’s This American Life and Planet Money, but if you haven’t, listen to his latest on the COVID-19 vaccine, The Other Extinguishers, or check out others like Gardens of Branching Paths, Things I Mean to Know, or The Experiment Experiment.

Event hosted and moderated by doctoral researchers Ben Ketter and Paul Jerger, with faculty support from Professors Hannes Bernien, Alex High, and Tian Zhong.
