This patch looks unnecessary. The state of the lease is transitioned
to Lease.STATE_DONE in the method _handle_end_lease (in
lease_scheduler.py), so the problem seems to be that this method isn't
being reached. This could be caused by setting the shutdown time to
zero (see https://mailman.cs.uchicago.edu/pipermail/haizea/2010-May/000158.html).
Please let us know if that's not the issue.
