M.S. Paper Title:  Auctions, Markets and Computation: Economics Meets 
Theoretical
Computer Science

Abstract:
The rising popularity of electronic commerce over the internet has 
spawned
considerable interest in the theoretical computer science community in 
the
interplay between economics, game theory and computation. In this paper 
we
review traditional economic models for auctions and market mechanisms, 
and
examine some of the related algorithmic, computational and complexity
issues. We survey some recent results in these areas and prove some
extensions.
