[Haizea] log file missing!!!

Hi,
I am a student interested in Haizea, I followed the procedure given in
Haizea manual to install it. I installed successfully but was not able to
find the log file in its default location as specified in the manual. Even
PID is not saved in the default location i.e. "/var/tmp/haizea/". Due to
which I am not able to stop Haizea.

I changed the ownership also to the default location (directory =
"/var/tmp/haizea/").

Can anyone help me giving ideas to solve this problem?
