*Title:* AI-ML Design Patterns Applied @ Scale
*Abstract: *It is fascinating to see how research evolves into solving
business problems at scale. Patterns have always been there to solve the
known problem areas with known solutions - A way of propagating knowledge
from one area to another and at scale. In this talk, I will share design
patterns that were applied at scale and touch on emerging patterns. These
patterns could be inclusive of data, algorithms, explainability, and
outliers.
*Bio:* Shanthi Gudavalli is currently the Global Head of Strategic
Execution of Payments Trust and Safety with the primary focus on
initiatives to pre-empt the risks of straight through payment
processing. Shanthi works on JP Morgan's AI research team with an interest
in large models and deep learning. Shanthi has 20+ years of financial
services experience spanning across data, technology, AI-ML enabling new
product launches at scale. Shanthi holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science
and Engineering from India and a Master's in Business Administration from
University of Chicago - Booth School of Business.
