Description: The ZX Calculus is a graphical language which can simplify reasoning about quantum systems. In this way, it has had a broad applications on how we can reason about quantum systems. In this talk, I will cover the basic definitions of the ZX calculus, its role in quantum circuit optimization and other fields, how it can be useful to us when we wish to reason about both quantum states and quantum processes.
