[Colloquium] Spring Distinguished Speaker Series talks

The Data Science Institute's *Distinguished Speaker Series*

continues this spring in collaboration with the Department of Statistics,
Department of Computer Science, and the Committee on Computational and
Applied Mathematics. We are excited to host three distinguished scholars
for thought-provoking lectures on data science, machine learning, and
artificial intelligence.

Events will take place in the *John Crerar Library Building, Room 390*,
with a *lunch social* *starting at noon* before the *lecture at 12:30 pm*
(unless otherwise noted).

*April 11: Dr. Margo Seltzer <https://www.seltzer.com/margo/>*, Research
Chair in Computer Systems and Cheriton Family Chair in Computer Science at
the University of British Columbia, will present the first talk of the
spring, titled "The Science and Meta-Science of Data Science." We hope you
