Hi All,

The Institute for Data, Econometrics, Algorithms, and Learning (IDEAL), an
NSF-supported collaborative institute across Northwestern, TTIC, and the
University of Chicago, is organizing a special quarter on High-Dimensional
Data Analysis in Spring of 2022.

The goal of this initiative is to study new methods and techniques for
working with high-dimensional data. We will investigate such topics as
clustering, algorithms for massive data sets, dimensionality reduction,
sketching, and low-distortion embeddings.

Activities will include workshops, seminars, and graduate-level courses.
Some of these events will be virtual. If you would like to participate in
this program, please fill out this form
<https://forms.gle/e1LRrfw3LYkWg8bv5>. Further details can be found here:
https://www.ideal.northwestern.edu/special-quarters/spring-2022.

Please feel free to forward this announcement to others. If you have any
questions, please contact us at admin at ideal.northwestern.edu.

We hope to see you at the following workshops and seminars:

   -

   April 22: Workshop on Clustering
   -

May 4: Seminar by Chandra Chekuri (UIUC)
   -

May 13: Workshop on Algorithms for Massive Data Sets
   -

May 27: Workshop on High-Dimensional Geometry and Analysis

Best,

Konstantin Makarychev, Northwestern

Yury Makarychev, TTIC
