<div class="">Deployment of computer applications with requirements in dynamics and unpredictable computer systems is challenging. It requires flexibility, control, and cooperation of the applications and system. Flexibility is the ability to trade-off the
value of one measure space by adjusting the value of another measure space. For example, DNN and approximate computing applications can reduce their latency by sacrificing their accuracy output. Control is the ability to manage flexibility such that the requirements
are met while their goal is optimized. Cooperation is needed to make a compromise between applications when they have a conflicting goal and are competing for limited resources.</div>

In our research, we present our approaches to manage flexibility in GPU applications and DNN applications. During these works, we found that managing flexibility can improve the goals for both applications and systems. However, the current state of the art
of managing flexibility is punishing flexible applications while incentivizing inflexible applications. This is harmful when applications are deployed by multiple stakeholders and they act non cooperatively. Therefore, we propose a new approach for controlling
flexibility such that it incentivizes applications’ flexibility and enforces cooperation between applications.<br class="">
