Please join us for two upcoming Distinguished Speaker Series lectures:*This
Friday: *Dr. Inderjit S. Dhillon, Gottesman Family Centennial Professor of
Computer Science and Mathematics at UT Austin, will present the first talk

taking
place Friday, April 5 in the Jones Laboratory, room 303, with a lunch
social starting at noon before the lecture at 12:30 p.m. The talk is titled
"MatFormer: Nested Transformer for Elastic Inference." *This is a joint
event presented by the DSI Distinguished Speaker Series and the **CAM

18: *Distinguished
Speaker Irina Rish <https://sites.google.com/view/irinarish/>, Professor of
Computer Science and Operations Research at Université de Montréal, will
present a lecture titled "Scaling to AGI" on Thursday, April 18

Crerar Library Building, Room 390, with a lunch social starting at noon
