*Title: *      Chalk Talk: Enabling Remote Collaboration

*Abstract:* I will discuss how computer vision research led to an
NSF-funded project addressing a range of problems in augmented
reality-based remote collaboration, spawned a startup company that
became Vuforia
Chalk <https://chalk.vuforia.com/> – using AR to provide powerful and
intuitive remote guidance – and informed ongoing research in imaging and
interaction.
