[Colloquium] Today at 3:30: Data Therapy on GeoDa and Spatial Data Analysis

This afternoon, *Data Therapy* resumes with Marynia Kolak
<https://spatial.uchicago.edu/directory/marynia-kolak-phd> of the Center
for Spatial Data Science <https://spatial.uchicago.edu/> talking about
GeoDa, <http://geodacenter.github.io/index.html> a software tool for
spatial data analysis.

Each hour-long gathering — co-organized by the Center for Data and Computing
<http://cdac.uchicago.edu/> and the Research Computing Center
<http://rcc.uchicago.edu/> — is meant to be a very informal introduction to
a new and useful data science tool, led by a UChicago researcher who has
used it in their work. The sessions are open to all faculty, students and
staff at the University.

*September 5: Peter Carbonetto, Research Computing Center*
How we use git, GitHub, R Markdown and a new R package, workflowr, to
encourage collaboration and develop reproducible research code
