Dear Colleague,

We cordially invite you to submit a paper to the Informatics track in the upcoming 2014 7th International Conference on BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (BMEI 2014) and the 2014 7th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing (CISP 2014), to be held in Dalian, China, 14-16 October 2014. Topics include (but are not limited to): Communications and Networking, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Intelligent Computing, Information Security, Automation and Control, etc.. The deadline for the 2nd (final) round of submissions is 30 July 2014 (papers already submitted in the previous round should not be re-submitted and will receive review notifications on 18 June).

Dalian is the largest port in northern China and a major tourist destination. Compared to some ancient capital cities in China, Dalian is a young city with only a 100-year history, boasting gorgeous landscapes, a pleasant climate, unique architecture, and numerous attractions, some ranking AAAAA (the best in tourism nationwide), for example, Laohutan Ocean Park (attracting over 200 million tourists annually), Ji Di Guan - Pole Aquarium, Bangchuidao Island, Shengya Aquarium, Bingyu Valley Scenic Area, Zhongshan Square, Dalian Forest Zoo, and Dalian Discovery Kingdom (a huge theme park).

As with past CISP-BMEI conferences, all papers in conference proceedings will be submitted to both EI Compendex and IEEE Xplore. Substantially extended versions of best papers will be considered for publication in a CISP-BMEI special issue of a SCI-indexed journal. The registration fee of US*D420 includes proceedings, lunches, dinners, banquet, coffee breaks, and all technical sessions.
