Computation of Imaging-Based Science

All visitors are welcome to join the next meeting of the Computation of Imaging-Based Science seminar.

ABSTRACT:
I will present work related to video microscopy of dense colloidal fluids in 2D.
Some topics I will cover during my talk include:

1) Tracking dynamical (time dependent) variables in non-equilibrium systems
2) Challenges posed in reconstructing noisy vector fields from particle tracking data
3) Current examples in 3D particle tracking and future aims.

The talk will emphasize the challenges posed integrating video microscopy techniques with experimental design with the aim of studying non equilibrium systems in 2 and 3 dimensions.
