Title: 	Mathematical Aspects of the Geometric Complexity Theory  
Approach to P Versus NP

Abstract: K. Mulmuley and M. Sohoni have proposed an approach to P v.  
NP via geometry and representation theory. I will report on joint work  
with P. Buergisser, L. Manivel and J. Weyman of our study of their  
work and possible future decisions.
