Title: Risk Bounds for Mixture Density Estimation
 
Abstract: 
We will use tools from Empirical Process theory for the problem of
density estimation. These tools are very general and might prove useful
for deriving uniform bounds in other settings.  In particular, we will
consider MLE and the greedy procedure of J. Li and A. Barron for
estimating mixtures of densities and prove bounds on the performance of
these algorithms.
 
Joint work with Dmitry Panchenko and Sayan Mukherjee.
