Title: Probing: An algorithm for extracting class probabilities with a
classifier learning algorithm.

Abstract: I will present an algorithm for extracting predicting class
probabilities given a hard (0/1) classifier.  This algorithm has the
following properties:
 
1) It's dead simple.
2) It is competitive with all other approaches.
3) It has a provable optimality guarantee: a relative average error rate
of epsilon implies an epsilon loss w.r.t. the squared error metric for
the probability estimates.
